How Do I Get A Library Card?

How Do I Get A Library Card?

You will need a picture ID (driver’s license is fine). If you do not have a current address on your ID, you will need a letter or bill showing your name and current address.

If you live in or own property within the Wellsville City limits, your card is free - after you fill out a simple application.

If you are a student or teacher in the WM R-1 School District you may get a free card by filling out the application as instructed above. If you are a student under 16 years of age, a parent must sign for you to have a card. You will need to take an application home and return it to the library. If we already have an application card on file with your parent’s signature, then we will issue you a card. To use the computers your parents must sign a permission agreement.

If you reside outside of the Wellsville City limits, you may fill out an application as instructed above, and purchase a library card. Fees are as follows – Individual - $7.50 per year, Family - $10.00 per year.

The only exception is for those who are traveling through our community and do not reside in our area who wish to use the computers. They may do so for a 15-minute time limit.

If you lose, destroy, or misplace your card a $1.00 replacement fee will be charged.
