Renew or Reserve or Request a Book

 Renew: A book may be renewed for an additional 2 weeks as long as nobody is waiting on it. To renew you may call the library at 573-684-6151 and ask to have the book renewed.

Reserve: You can call or email the library with the title and author of the item you wish to reserve. If the library doesn't have the book, the librarian  will ask if you would like her to interlibrary loan the book.

Requesting materials through interlibrary loan: This is a service which the library can borrow materials from another library that will be delivered by a courier. Patron must provide the title and author of the book which they are requesting. They need to include their name and phone number where they may be reached when the book comes in.. There is no cost, unless the item borrowed is not returned. Then patron is responsible for the cost of the book. This does take a week or two to process and be delivered.
